Camping is a great activity to partake in. As a city, Lake City has some of the best camping locations in the area within fifteen minutes of city boundaries.

The closest of these is Hok-Si-La Park, which lies just upriver on highway sixty one, right outside of the city. Hok-Si-La park offers plenty of activities, including hiking, birdwatching, boating, biking, hunting, fishing, picnicking, RV camping, and tent camping. All these activities are all packed into a nice secluded wooded area right off of the beautiful Lake City, Minnesota.
