Tiger football season ends at the hands of Cannon Falls
After a thrilling upset victory in the opening round of playoffs, the Lake City High School football team entered Saturday night’s semifinal clash with Cannon Falls riding a huge wave of momentum. That confidence carried over in the opening half as the Tigers went to toe-to-toe with a team that soundly defeated them 52-6 just three weeks prior. In the end, the Bombers powerful rushing attack wore down the Tigers defense as Cannon Falls pulled away for a 36-6 victory.
