Lake City's Winter Fest is changing, growing

Attendance at individual Winter Fest events has turned out to be as unpredictable as the weather.
According to Ron Hooge, the lead organizer of Lake City’s annual winter festival now entering its third straight year, events that got great attendance the first year were down last year. Others that weren’t well attended the first year saw a surge in participation last year.
Some events have bucked the trend.
