Ambulance service in flux

Change is coming, seemingly all at once, to the Lake City Ambulance Service.
The City Council accepted former director Gail Riemersma’s resignation on Feb. 13. But even before that, the service was working on sweeping changes in response to recommendations contained in a state agency report that found fault with the city’s management of the service from the council on down.
