Now debt-free, Valley View Assembly of God looks to the future

“Pastor, we are ready for the mortgage burning,” they yelled.
On Sunday, May 7, Valley View Assembly of God church held a mortgage burning ceremony to celebrate the final payment of their church mortgage and being debt free.
With the congregation, church board and Pastor Mara Sorenson looking on, Pastor Orin Sandberg did the ceremonial burning of the mortgage papers.
