Cruise history aboard paddlewheeler

The Goodhue County Historical Society invites the public to take part in a History Cruise focusing on the shoreline from Lake City to Old Frontenac. The three-hour cruise will take place aboard the Pearl of the Lake, departing from Lake City on Sunday, Sept. 17, beginning at 3:30 p.m.  Tickets are $25 each and are available through the Historical Society.  Local historian Fred Johnson will be aboard to narrate the events.
Central Point, Rest Island, Old Frontenac:  each location has a unique history and connects broadly to the story of the Upper Mississippi River Valley.
