Health screenings to be offered Jan. 12
Residents living in and around the Lake City area can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other chronic, serious conditions with screenings by Life Line Screening. St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church will host this community event on Jan. 12. The site is located at 419 West Lyon Avenue in Lake City.
Screenings can check for:
• The level of plaque buildup in arteries, related to risk for heart disease, stroke and overall vascular health.
• HDL and LDL Cholesterol levels
• Diabetes risk
