Free Lenten soup suppers begin Feb. 21 at St. Mark’s

The communities are welcome to join St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Lake City and Grace Memorial Episcopal Church in Wabasha, who will be sharing this Lenten season with church services, simple suppers and discussing Luke’s Gospel.
They will begin by reading the first section from The Good Book Club’s Luke’s Gospel on Sunday, Feb. 11 in each of the parishes.  On Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, St. Mark’s will have their service at the Lake City Care Center at 4 p.m. and invites anyone who would like to receive the sign of penitence to attend.
