Carving workshop offered at public library Feb. 24
Jeffrey Tibbetts will offer a Native Skywatchers Carving Workshop at the Lake City Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This three-hour activity will introduce participants to aspects of the Ojibwe world view represented in art form from the natural elements and the cosmos. With that understanding, participants will create and carve a physical representation from a natural material.
Space is limited. Registration is required. People can call 651-345-4013 or stop by the Lake City Public Library to reserve a spot.
