A kid from a basketball family in a basketball town has been named the state’s top senior girls high school hockey player.
Taylor Heise of Lake City was named Ms. Hockey at the Ms. Hockey awards banquet Sunday, Feb. 25. That night she and Alexa Dobchuk, the senior goalie of the year, did the “Let’s Play Hockey” call at the Minnesota Wild game at Xcel Energy Center.
