Day of Prayer celebration is scheduled for May 3

Everyone is invited to celebrate the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3, at 6 p.m. at Patton Park in Lake City.  Many of the Lake City churches will be there to pray for the national, state, and local leaders.
This is a nonpartisan, nondenominational gathering to pray for federal, state and local leaders.  Local leaders have been invited so attendees can pray for them in person.        “There will be music, prayer and a joyful spirit of unity in the community as we pray for wisdom and guidance for all of our leaders,” according to a news release.
