The Eagle has landed on Lakeshore Drive

A visibly vacant building on one of Lake City’s busiest intersections is empty no more.

Eagle Hang Gliding has moved into the north side of the former Conoco building at the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Marion Street.

People can stop in to sign up for hang glider flights that have been offered over Lake Pepin for the last three seasons.

The company is also offering paddleboard, kayak, and other equipment rentals.

People will also be able to rent pontoons from a new business, Lake City Boat Club and Rentals.
