Tiger bowlers split wins in Preston meet
The Tiger bowling team traveled to Preston last weekend. The varsity went 1-1 for the day. In the first match they lost to Wabasha-Kellogg 4-1, losing three of the games by 15 pins or less, including a one pin loss. In the second match, they beat Winona 3-2 in a very exciting match. With the match tied 2-2, it came down to the 10th frame with Lake City winning the fifth game 172-171 for the series win. They were led by Gage Knutson and Sam Smith, both at 90 percent in total fill percentage.
