Demolition permit sought for vacant downtown buildings

Some long-vacant downtown Lake City buildings could soon be coming down.
Lake Pepin Development is seeking a demolition permit from the city for 208-214 S. Lakeshore Drive, across the highway from Total Look and Kennedy Hallmark. Plans call for the development of a parking lot, and later, a hospitality use.
