Cannon River Art and Water Fest planned

Live music, live animals, and an insect safari will take place at the The Cannon River Art and Water Festival Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverside Park (on the corner of Poplar Street and 8th St. West) in Northfield, Minn.

“This family-friendly festival is a celebration of our rivers, lakes, and drinking water in southern Minnesota. You’ll hear music, create water-themed art, and discover the animals that call the Cannon River home,” according to a news releas from Cannon River Watershed Partnership.
