Wabasha library to host immigration discussion on Oct. 17

Dianne and Thomas Haines will present on the status of immigration in the United States on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wabasha Public Library.
They have been on solidarity trips since 1989 to Guatemala (12 times), Honduras (3 times), Nicaragua (once), Mexico (once) and on border trips 6 times.
Thom is an assistant Carver County attorney and chairs the Global Justice and Advocacy Team at Mayflower United Church of Christ.
