Alan Priem obituary

    A memorial service for  Alan Priem will be held Saturday, February 26 at 4 p.m. at Urland Lutheran Church. Mr. Priem, 70, of Bellechester died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home in Bellechester where he had recently been under hospice care. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial at the Urland Cemetery will occur at a later date.
    Alan Frank Priem was born September 3, 1951 in Douglas, Wis. to Melvin and Violet (Torgeson) Priem. He worked more than forty years at the foundry in Lake City. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family, and “making miracles in the garage.”
    He is survived by his daughters Rhonda (Tom) Malecha of Lonsdale, Kristina (Randy Freerksen) Priem of Rochester; sons Joe (Kandee) Priem of White Rock, and J.J. (Joy) Carlson of Belvidere; grandchildren Mike, Mikalee, Jaseana, Hunter, Rebecca, Kayla, Emily, Blake, Alyssa, Gabriela, and Kevin; and great-grandchildren Ayden, Jacob, and Addison. Also surviving are a brother Marty (Kim) Priem; and a sister Renay (Rick) Dodge.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Dave “Charlie,” Rick, and Ed.
