Andrew Brinkman obituary

Andrew Jonathan Brinkman, age 39, of Goodhue, passed away suddenly on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.
He was born Dec. 7, 1981, in Lake City to Terri Brinkman. Andy was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Belvidere, where he was baptized and confirmed. He graduated from Goodhue High School. He married Katie Possehl, June 27, 2015, but they later divorced.
Andy had a passion for driving tractors and did any chance he could get. He especially loved John Deere ones, just like his Grandpa. He also enjoyed derbying and built many cars with his brother and friends. Most of all, he cherished his special times he spent with Kendra.
He is survived by his daughters, Kendra and Kyla; his special friend, Kelsey; his mother and step-dad, Terri and Dana Ryan; brother and sister-in-law, Kurt and Cheri Brinkman; nephews, Lincoln and Lane, all of Goodhue; grandmother, Arlis Brinkman; aunt, June Brinkman of Lake City.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Ralph Brinkman.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Reverend Steve Frentz will lead a private funeral service  Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at Mahn Funeral Home  in Lake City. A live stream of the service may be viewed on the Mahn Family Funeral Home FaceBook page Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Belvidere Cemetery. A walk-through visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mahn Funeral Home in Lake City. Both the burial and visitation will be open to the public. Both masks and social distancing will be required.  Online condolences can be left at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
