Arlene Fick Obituary

Arlene M. Fick, 82, passed away at Mayo Clinic Health System, Lake City Care Center on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020.
    Arlene was born on Jan. 13, 1938 to Harry and Margaret (Eggenberger) Moechnig in Lake City. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City. Arlene married Gerald Fick on Nov. 22, 1958 at the United Methodist Church in Lake City. They lived and farmed in Gillford Township until 1989 when they retired and moved to Lake City. They enjoyed spending their winters in Mesa, Ariz., which they did for 18 years. Arlene was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed playing cards, baking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
    She is survived by her husband Gerald; sons, Randall (Brenda) of Lake City, Ronnie (Amy) of Lake City, Bruce (Nancy) of Zumbro Falls and Thomas (Christine) of Lake City; daughter, Lori (Scott) Rolbiecki of Mazeppa; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Arlys Moechnig of Goodhue; and sister-in-law, Joyce Moechnig of Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Moechnig; and daughter-in-law, Karen Fick.
