Betty Slauson obituary

    Betty J. Slauson, 95, of Lake City passed away December 24, 2021 at the Lake City Hospital.
    Betty was born June 26, 1926 in Lake City to Edward and Alvina (Fuhrman) Anderson. Betty graduated from Lincoln High School. She married Wilbur Slauson on June 15, 1956 in Wabasha. They lived in Lake City. Betty worked as a seamstress at the Lake City Coat Factory for 39 years. Wilbur passed away in 1965. Betty enjoyed traveling the world with her brother Harley.
    She is survived by a half nephew, John Slauson of Mounds View, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wilbur; brother, Harley Anderson; a half-brother, John Halpaus Sr.; two half-sisters, Ida Pilger and Hazel Key; and a half niece Nancy Blackard.
