Carol W. “Red” Herzig, 87, of Minneapolis, formerly of Theilman, passed peacefully Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, after a long battle with lung disease.
Survived by son, Jon (Zoe); daughter, Jodi (Chuck) Nelson; granddaughters, Rebecca and Heather; and many family members and friends. Preceded in death by wife Lois and great-grandson Rory.
The family thanks the staff of Allina Hospice.
Celebration of Life was Monday, Aug. 17, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3901 1st Ave. in Minneapolis.
