Cheryl Johnson obituary

Cheryl Ann Johnson, 74, passed away at her home in Zumbro Falls on Saturday, August 22, 2020, surrounded by her family.
Cheryl was born to Norman “Tubby” and Ann (Russell) Siewert on June 6, 1946, in Rochester, Minn. She grew up in the Oak Center area and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. Cheryl married Larry Johnson on Feb. 6, 1965, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lake City, Minn. They lived in the Zumbro Falls area and raised their family. Cheryl attended school and received her cosmetology degree. She worked as a beautician in Zumbro Falls and Rochester. She also worked at Shopko for a short time. Due to health reasons, Cheryl had to stop working outside the home. Cheryl enjoyed gardening, baking and loved to cook.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Larry; three children, Debra (Louie) Sanford of Lake City, Jay (Tammi) Johnson of Zumbro Falls, Tony (Heidi) Johnson of Wabasha; eight grandchildren, Brandon Herzig, Holly Mack, Andrew Johnson, McKenzie Johnson, Courtney Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Emma Johnson, Alison Johnson; one great grandchild,  Ava Johnson; sister, Linda (Tom) Lemmerman of Mazeppa; two brothers, Thomas (Judy) Siewert of Winona, Jay (Mary) Siewert of Byron. She is preceded in death by her parents.
