Daniel Foster Obituary

    Daniel L. Foster, 63, went to his heavenly home on Monday, April 16, 2018.  
    He was born Oct. 11, 1954 in Duluth, Minn. to Gerald and Mary (Coughlin) Foster.  He worked for Federal-Mogul in Lake City for 40 years and served in the Army National Guard. He married Debra Kohrs on June 7, 1975 and they lived in Lake City until moving to Rochester in May 2017.  Dan was a hard working man who will be remembered for humor and love for all. He enjoyed gardening, hunting with his grandson Trevor, and spending time with his family.
    He is survived by his wife, Debra Foster; daughter, Sherry Foster; and grandson, Trevor Foster, all of Rochester.  Also survived by his siblings Tom (Thi) Foster of Arizona, Steve (MaryAnn) of Ohio, Dave (Nancy) Foster of Wisconsin, Debbie (Bob) Renaud of Minnesota, Teresa Johnson of Minnesota; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Linda Foster of Michigan; Jill Kohrs, Kate and Larry Binner, Keith and Deb Kohrs, Pat and Kenny Sexton, and Mark Kohrs; father-in-law, Emery Kohrs, all of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Lloyd Farrar, brother, Frank Foster, brother-in-law, William Kohrs, and mother-in-law, Ruth Kohrs.
    Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21, at 11  a.m. at Christ Our Rock Lutheran Church, 3040 Stonehedge Drive NE in Rochester .  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
