Faye Busch obituary

Faye Amanda Busch, 95, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Mayo’s St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Faye was born on June 10, 1929 to Fritz and Emma (Johnson) Hoops in Lake City, Minn. She attended grade school at the Oak Center School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947. Faye married John (Jack) Busch Jr. on January 2, 1952. They had two sons. Steven and Timothy Busch. Faye worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at J.C. Penny’s in Lake City, as a dental assistant to Dr. Seaberg, made jewelry at Kollar Keeper and did childcare.
Faye is survived by her two sons, Steve Busch, and Tim (Kit) Busch; granddaughter, Ashley (Jason) Meyer; great grandchildren, Reid and Ramsey Meyer; brother, Ronald Hoops; brother-in-law, Ronald Busch
She is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, and three sisters, Loa Lorentzen, Ila Jacob, Una Schlee; sister-in-law, Margie Hoops; nephew, Michael Hoops.
A private graveside service will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City.
