John William "Bill" Campion Obituary

John William "Bill" Campion passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.
    He is survived by loving wife of 64 years, Peg; daughters, Jane (Tom) Coleman and Connee Campion; grandchildren, Hallie, Hilary, and Gwen Campion, Johnny, Danny, and Joey Coleman and Alex Wolfe; and siblings, Bob (Betty), Jane  and Mary. He was preceded in death by son, Mike; and parents, Martin and Mary.
    Bill served in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of the College of St. Thomas and William Mitchell College of Law. Bill spent 40 years at Northwest Airlines, was a company officer and retired as vice president of Corporate Planning. However, he considered his greatest accomplishment there to have been meeting his wife, Peg.
    Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, Feb. 12 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church in St. Paul. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands.
