Julie Zibell obituary

Julie A. Zibell, age 79, of Lake City (formerly of Vadnais Heights), passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 17, 2024.
Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Les; son Dan of Vadnais Heights, daughter Lori (Scott) Larson of Minneapolis, daughter Wendy (Dave) Cole of Vadnais Heights; grandchildren Ellie (Stephen), Julia, Jack, Eva, Andrew; sister Linda Wenzel. Preceded in death by her parents, brother John, and nephew Jeff.
Julie was born on October 22, 1945 in St. Paul, Minn. to Donita and LeRoy Shosten. She grew up in Roseville, Minn. and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in 1963. She married Les on June 30, 1965 in Roseville. Julie devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved to host gatherings and be surrounded by family and friends. In addition to being an amazing cook, she enjoyed sewing, golfing, biking and playing tennis.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 26 at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview, Minn. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
