Lawrence Simanovski Obituary

Lawrence Emil Simanovski, 80, of Plainview, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020 at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center in Plainview.
    Larry was born Aug. 21, 1939 in Plainview to Emil and Irene (Seefeldt) Simanovski. He attended Plainview High School and was employed at Plainview Milk Products from 1965-2004 when he retired. In 1964 he married Sharon Krenzke and they were later divorced. Larry was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview.
    He is survived by his children, Jill (Kim) Hayes of Plainview, Lesa (Richard) Funke of Lake City and Steven (Trina) Simanovski of Wasilla, Alaska; grandchildren, Holly (Joe) Hayes, Cameron (Amber) Hayes, Amelia and Olivia Funke, Courtney (Jesse) Bamlet, and Andrew, Cordelia, Jacob and Brent Ohde; great-grandchildren, Mazie and Stella Eversman and Logan Bamlet; one brother, Henry Simanovski of Winona; and one sister, Julie Price of Tulsa, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nancy.
    Private graveside service will be Saturday, Aug. 22, at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview with Pastor Phil Augustine officiating.
