Mark Malles Obituary

Mark Malles, 58, of Lake City, died on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his home in Lake City.
    Mark was born in Lake City on Sept. 4, 1960 to Melvin and Constance (Sleyster) Malles. Mark grew up in Lake City and graduated from Lincoln High School. He worked at Red Wing Shoe for 37 years until retiring in 2017. His cats were very special to him. He had a great love of music and was an avid reader. He was also a musician and enjoyed playing guitar. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
    Mark is survived by two sons, Tom (Melissa) Malles of Byron and Mike Malles of Red Wing; one step-son, Jason (Lisa) Hanson of Byron; five grandchildren, Kierrah, Ariana, Ezra, Elenora and Chaslynn;  two step-grandchildren, Olivia and Aidan Hanson; a brother, Scott (Lois) Malles of Red Wing; and a sister, Roberta (Lynette) Malles of Minneapolis. Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa and his parents.
