Marlene Roschen obituary

Marlene E. Roschen, 87, of Lake City passed away on March 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Marlene was born on Sept. 8, 1933 to August and Florence (Thomforde) Reincke in Gillford Township, Minn. She graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1951. Marlene married Lloyd Roschen on June 27, 1953 in Zumbrota at the Christ Lutheran Church. They farmed in Belvidere Township until 1995 when they moved to Lake City. They enjoyed attending all the high school sports in Goodhue. They were members of Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City. She enjoyed playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family.
Marlene is survived by her husband Lloyd; sons, Robert (Donna) Roschen of Goodhue, Jon (Pat) Roschen of Goodhue, David (Holly) Roschen of Goodhue; daughters, Cynthia (Rod) Voth of Goodhue and Theresa Ryan of Pine Island, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judith Glander of Lake City and Marilyn Zeitner of Lake City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Augie Reincke.
A private service will be held on Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City with Pastor Steve Frentz officiating. A walk-through visitation will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson – Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Burial will be in Bethany Lutheran  Cemetery in Lake City. Memorials are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House. Masks and social distancing are required.
