Michael Livermore obituary

Michael John Livermore, 75, of Maple Grove, Minn., passed away on January 11, 2025, due to complications from renal cancer. Born on March 22, 1949, to Jack and Betty Livermore. After graduating from Hudson High School in 1967, Mike attended UW-River Falls, earning two degrees. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Sandy, on August 10.
Mike dedicated 35 years to teaching, inspiring students across several school districts, with the final 27 years of his career spent at Park Center Senior High. In retirement, he remained active, cherishing time spent with family and friends, serving his church, and his captivating storytelling.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Jack Livermore. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, BT (Karlee Jane); grandchildren Hunter, Kennett, and Otto; his mother, Betty Livermore; his sisters, Pat Sherley and Barb Hess; brothers-in-law Charlie and Howard. He also leaves behind an earthly daughter, and countless others who considered him family.
A funeral service will be held on January 25, 2025, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, Minn. Visitation at 12 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m.
