Mitchell Drenckhahn Obituary

Mitchell D. Drenckhahn, 68, of Lake City, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.
    Mitch was born April 28, 1951 in Red Wing to Dale and Betty (Burr) Drenckhahn. Mitch grew up in the Hammond and Zumbrota area.  He joined the Army in 1968 and was discharged in 1971. Mitch married Debi Everett Oct. 29, 1977 in Lake City at First Lutheran Church. They made their home in Lake City where they raised their two daughters. Mitch owned and operated rental properties in Red Wing, Rochester and Lake City.  He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
    Mitch is survived by his wife, Debi of Lake City; two daughters, Michelle Drenckhahn of St. Louis Park, Minn. and Misty Drenckhahn of Rochester; two granddaughters, Briella and Avianna Carmichael; grandson, Gabriel Goitom; three sisters, Mindy Drenckhahn of Plainview, Sheri Drenckhahn of Red Wing and Cheryl Danielson of Zumbrota; brother, Larry Drenckhahn of St. Paul; and many nieces and nephews. Mitch was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Drenckhahn; and a sister, Lou Jean Berning.
