Ramona Preble Obituary

The funeral service for Ramona Preble was on Saturday, July 21, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, with Pastor David Badgely officiating.  Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery following the service.
    Ramona June Preble, 86, of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health System, Lake City Care Center.  
    She was born June 29, 1932 in Laramie, Wyo. to Fritz and Helen (Wesemen) Anderson.  She attended school in St. Paul, graduating from Mechanic Arts High School.  On Jan. 13, 1976 she married John Preble in Sioux Falls, S.D.
    Ramona enjoyed spending time embroidering, crocheting, quilting, and loved to attend to their rose garden.  She was a member of the Lake City Historical Society.
    Ramona is survived by her husband, John Preble of Lake City; her seven children, Rick Wagner of Vermillion, Minn., Michelle (Kevin) Decker of Zimmerman, Minn., Jodey Witte of Arvada, Colo., Sandra Stanfill of Fort Collins, Colo., Robert (Denise) Wagner of Eagan, Minn., and Scott Preble and Trisha (Kevin) Jojiboj, both of Pheonix, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles (Loewy) Anderson of Nevis, Minn.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred Anderson.
    Memorials are preferred to the Lake City Food Shelf in her memory.
    Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, in Lake City.
