Randall Moyer obituary

    Randall H. Moyer, 66, passed away at his home in Lake City on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
    Randall H. Moyer was born on March 2, 1956 in Lake City to Robert and Ethel (Willers) Moyer. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City in 1974. Randall served in the Army Reserve, Air Force and Air Force Reserve, retiring after 23 years of service. He served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He received an Armed Forces Reserve Medal, a Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and Air Force Training Ribbon. Randall also worked as a carpenter/tradesman. He spent many years at multiple Air Force bases within the U.S. He moved back to Lake City in 2001. Randall enjoyed cooking, spending time with his friends and family, and carpentry as a hobby.
    Randall is survived by his daughter, Heather (Tim) Thomas of Frontenac; three grandchildren, Aubrie, Jasper and Lorelei Thomas;  four brothers, Robert (Margaret) Moyer of Flower Mound, Texas, Richard (Marcene) Moyer of Lake City, Russell Moyer of Mims, Fla., Rodney (Elizabeth) Moyer of Frontenac; one sister, Rebecca (Robert) Boeck of New London, Wis., many nieces and nephews; special friend, Kathy Peck of Lake City.
    He is preceded in death by his parents.
    A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Online condolences may be placed at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
