Raymond Liffrig Obituary

Raymond H. Liffrig, 65, of Lake City, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Lake City Care Center.
    Ray was born May 4, 1952 in Lake City to Raymond and Betty (Lombard) Liffrig. Ray graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City in 1971. He worked at Riveria Cabinets in Red Wing for many years. He also worked at Premier Woodworks in Lake City. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid car collector. In his early years he enjoyed drag racing. Ray was a member of NTBA and was a charter member of the Minnesota T’s. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
    Ray is survived by his mother, Betty of Lake City; two sisters, Linda (James) Wurst of Frontenac and Debra (James) Mikelson of Nelson, Wis.; a brother, Kevin Liffrig of Lake City; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond.
    A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Online condolences may be placed at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
