Robert Angell Jr. Obituary

Robert William ‘Duff’ Angell Jr., 75, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, of natural causes in his home in Pine Haven, Wyo.
    He was born June 11, 1943, in Lake City, to Robert and Mary Angell. He attended school in Lake City and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961. During high school, he worked as a lifeguard. After graduation, he joined the Army as a paratrooper. After the military, he joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and worked his way up to journeyman electrician.
In 1968 he married JoAnn Teideman and adopted her two sons and they had two more children together.
    He was a proud member of The American Legion, VFW, Masonic Lodge, Moose Lodge and the Nation Rifle Association. He loved traveling to see family, watching Nascar and fishing.
    He retired from the IBEW in 2000 and moved to Pine Haven, Wyo. where he went out on the lake and golfed with new friends.
    He is survived by his son, Robert (Kristie) Angell of Norco, Calif., his daughter, Tiffany Angell of Red Wing; six grandkids, Joseph Angell of Tomball, Texas, Jennifer Angell of Riverfalls, Wis., Trystin and Toshiana Angell of Red Wing and Robert and Joshua Angell of Norco, Calif.; two great-grandkids, Isaiah Angell of Tomball, Texas and Aubree Stumpf of Red Wing; siblings, Barb (Byron) Todeff of Durand, Wis., Gary Angell of Wabasha, Laurie Voorhees of Red Wing,  and Rick (Rayne) Angell of Hammond. Duff is also survived by many step and half-siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Lonn Angell and Brett Angell, one brother, Mike Angell and one sister, Becky (David) Toole.
    A memorial will be Saturday, July 28, at the VFW in Lake City at noon with a small graveside service at Lakewood Cemetery at 2 p.m., then return to the VFW to celebrate him.
