Robin Jacobsen obituary

Robin Sue Jacobsen, loving mother of two sons, Ryan and Cody Jacobsen, passed away at Three Links Care Center in Northfield, Minn. after a long fight with Multiple Sclerosis. Robin died Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, on her 56th birthday. Robin was born in Red Wing in 1964 to Richard and Susan (Chase) Flum and graduated from Lake City High School. She married Richard Jacobsen and later divorced. Together they had two sons, Ryan and Cody. Robin worked at Randy’s, AUI and at Treasure Island until 2004 when Robin was unable to work due to the progression of her diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a huge Jeff Gordon/NASCAR fan and loved playing Bingo, continuing throughout her battle with the disease that took her life too soon. Robin also loved the animals she cared for throughout her life.
Robin is survived by her sons, Ryan (Stacy) of Leroy, Minn. and Cody (Sean) of Red Wing; three grandchildren, Rayce, Shelby and Raelynn; her mother, Susan (Boyton) Hermann of Arizona; three siblings, Rick of Arizona, Brian of Wisconsin and Wendy (Jeremy) of Faribault; step-sister, Dawn (Greg) Bauer of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Flum and her former husband, Richard Jacobsen.
Celebration of life will be held at the Elks Lodge in Red Wing on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
