Santina 'Tina" Morrill Obituary

    The memorial service for Sontina “Tina” Morrill was Saturday, Jan. 9, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City with Pastor Ricardo Alcoser officiating.
    Ms. Morrill, 45, of Lake City died unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Hospital.
    Sontina Marie Morrill was born June 16, 1970 in Rochester to James and Ysabela (Mendoza) Morrill.  She grew up in Hammond and attended school in Rochester at Jefferson and Kellogg Schools, and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1988.  She then lived for one year in Hastings and then moved to Lake City.
    Tina was employed by Treasure Island Casino for 15 years, and was currently employed at the Old Bank Bar in Lake City.  She especially loved to spend time with her niece and nephews.
    Tina is survived by her parents, James and Ysabela Morrill of Lake City; and three brothers, Juan Morrill of Rochester, Joseph Morrill of Hammond, and James (Daphne) Morrill of Chatfield; and her niece and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
    Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, Lake City.  Guest register may be signed online at www.schleicherfuneralhomes.com
