Vivian Krier Obituary

The funeral service for Vivian M. Krier will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church – West Albany in rural Millville, with Fr. John Wilmot officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.
    Vivian Marie Krier, 87, of Wabasha, and formerly of Millville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care in Wabasha, where she has resided since July of 2016.  Vivian was born June 28, 1931 in Rochester to Howard and Maxine (Arndt) Erwin.  She graduated from Pine Island High School in 1950.  She married Raymond Paul Krier on June 16, 1956 in Rochester.
    The Krier’s farmed in rural Millville for many years, retiring in 1998.  They started to winter in Wickenburg, Ariz. area starting in the 1990’s and continued for many years until the passing of Raymond in 2006.
    Vivian enjoyed gardening, bird watching, was a rock hound, and enjoyed riding Harley’s with Raymond.  She was a member of the Millville American Legion Auxiliary and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  While living in Arizona she was a member of Gold Prospectors Association in Wickenburg, the American Legion Post 79 Auxiliary in Yarnell, and formerly a member of the Elks Lodge Post 2160 Auxiliary in Wickenburg.
    Vivian is survived by her sons, Raymond H. (Delane) Krier of Millville, Johnny (Kris Streiff) Krier of Lake City, and Kevin Krier of Congress, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Andrist of Mazeppa, and Evelyn Runge of Ostrander.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one son, and two brothers.
    Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
