City of Lake City - Board of Adjusment - Sept. 3 Hearing

NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
    Notice is hereby given that the City of Lake City Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on September 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, Minnesota. The Commission will consider the following requests:
    1. A Variance request VAR26.002 submitted by Randy Lerum. The Commission will consider for a variance to allow a detached accessory building to be placed on the property line with no side and rear setbacks to the adjacent property. The property is located at the end of S. Garden St. adjacent to Highway 61 South and is legally described as: Northwestern Part of Lot-005, and all of Lot 003 and 004 and 5 Block-099, Lake City, Wabasha County, Minnesota.
    2. A Variance request VAR26.003 submitted by David Breitenfield on behalf of Lake City Boat Club & Rentals. The Commission will consider for a variance to allow an addition to 211 N. Lakeshore Dr. to enhance the showroom for the business. The addition would expand the non-conforming structure an additional 35 feet with no setback to the rear yard. The property is located on the 22nd Block of the City of Lake City legally described as: Part of Lot-003, 4 and 5 Block-022, Lake City, Wabasha County, Minnesota.
