RETREAT MEETING
OCTOBER 21, 2024, 4:30 p.m.
2nd Floor conferEnce room, City Hall
Members Present: Mayor Mark Nichols, Amy Alkire, Russell Boe, Megan Kramer, Faye Brown, Brian Quinn
Members Absent:    Cindy McGrath
Staff Present: City Administrator Rob Keehn
Mayor Nichols called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. with a quorum present.
Review adopt/ amend agenda
Council member Brown requested that the Block 15 alley entrance be included as a discussion item. This was included as part of the council work plan discussion on the agenda.
Motion Alkire, second Kramer to adopt the agenda as presented.  All ayes 6-0-0.  All ayes Motion carried.
Council Retreat Discussion
City administrator Keehn provided an update on the 2024 Council work plan as well as the need to consider the vision of the council and the community moving forward. Staff is looking at an update to the City’s comprehensive plan, the future of the Cemstone property, and the demographic shifts in the community population
Motion Brown, second Quinn to adjourn at 5:20 p.m.  All ayes 6-0-0.  Motion carried.
