City of Lake City - Planning Commission - Sept. 3 Hearing

NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
    Notice is hereby given that the City of Lake City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on September 3, at 6:22 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, Minnesota. The Commission will consider the following requests:
    1. A Planned Unit Development Amendment request submitted by Craig & Linda Vonch to reduce the density of the subdivision by allowing the combination of Lot 002 Block 003 and Lot 003 Block 004 of the Jewel Third Addition for a dwelling to be sited across both lots. The property is located at 628 and 632 Cedar Ct.
    2. An amendment to the Municipal Code, Title XV Land Use, Chapter 151, Flood Plain Management. The purpose of the amendment is to add the General Floodplain §151.70 to the Ordinance that was adopted on June 8, 2026 and effective July 21, 2026.
    People desiring to address the Commission are encouraged to do so during the public hearing. Additional information concerning this request is available at City Hall.
