City of Lake City - Public Hearing - Interim Ordinance - Cannabis Businesses

NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of Lake City will meet on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in Lake City City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, to conduct a public hearing on the adoption of an interim ordinance.  The purpose of the interim ordinance is to authorize a study to consider adoption of reasonable restrictions on the time, place and manner of the operation of cannabis businesses in Lake City.  Such restrictions may not prohibit the establishment or operation of a cannabis business authorized under the recently adopted state law.
All persons interested may appear and be heard at the time and place set forth above or submit written comments in advance of the hearing.
