CITY OF LAKE CITY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 625 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake City has adopted Ordinance No. 625, titled “An Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Real Property Owned by the City,” and
WHEREAS, the City Charter allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance is three pages in length; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City of Lake City City Council:
1. The City of Lake City City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 625, titled “An Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Real Property Owned by the City.” The Ordinance authorizes the City to sell a portion of City-owned real property to Geneva Pacific Development Fund NAP4 LLC (“Geneva”). The property is legally described as:
The South 70 feet of the North 87.42 feet of Outlot 23 Lake City, according to the recorded plat thereof, County of Wabasha, State of Minnesota.
The portion of the property that Geneva is purchasing from the City is adjacent to property that Geneva is purchasing from a third party. The Ordinance is effective upon publication.
2. The City Clerk is directed to publish this summary in lieu of publication of the entire ordinance.
3. The City Clerk is directed to post a copy of the entire text of Ordinance No. 625 at City Hall, the City of Lake City Public Library, and on the City of Lake City web site for a period of not less than 10 days. In addition, a printed copy of Ordinance No. 625 is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Lake City City Hall.
