REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on February 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 6 board members and 18 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. State Dance Team participants recognized.  
4. Eric Stashek was recognized for being named Yamaha’s 40 under 40 Class of 2026.
5. Principal Berge gave the High School report.  
6. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report.
7. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report in written form.
8. Supt. Wright gave her report and enrollment update.
9. Board members gave reports on recent school visits.
10. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
11. February 26 & March 5, 2026 Parent/Teacher Conferences (Bluff View).
12. March 9 & 16, 2026 Parent/Teacher Conference (High School).
13. March 16, 2026 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
14. Adopted consent agenda (mcu).
15. Approved the Community Ed Fee changes (mcu).
16. Approved the review of policies 202, 508, 518, 520, 526, 528, 529, 531, and 533 (mcu).
17. Approved the resolution designating Ariana Wright as the Identified Official with Authority to authorize user access to MDE secure websites for Lake City Public Schools for the fiscal year 2026-2027 (mcu).
18. Approved the resolution for donations & gifts (mcu).
19. Approved the Lake City Public Schools - Minnesota Paid Leave Handbook (mc 4-2).
20. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m. (mcu).
