REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on November 18, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 19 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
3. No school on November 28 & 29, 2024 for Thanksgiving Break.
4. Tentative Work Session December 10, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. District Board Room.
5. December 16, 2024 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
6. Truth in Taxation Meeting - Monday, December 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Lincoln High School Media Center.
7. Recognition of State and National Convention Participants in Cross Country, Girls Tennis, and FFA National Convention.
8. Principal Berge gave the High School report.
9. Vice Principal Holst gave the Bluff View report.
10. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
11. World’s Best Workforce Presentation given by Supt. Wright, Director Kvasnicka, Principal Berg, and Vice Principal Holst.
12. Approved policies 418, 608 & 624 (mcu).
13. Approved Final 2024-2025 Teachers Seniority List (mcu).
14. First reading of 2024-2025 Paraprofessional Seniority List.
15. Approved Work Session for December 10, 2024 at 7 a.m. in District Board Room (mcu).
16. Approved Organizational Meeting for January 10, 2025 at 7:00 a.m. in the District Board Room (mcu).
17. Approved 2023-2024 World’s Best Workforce Summary Report (mcu).
18. Approved 2024-2025 World’s Best Workforce Goals (mcu).
19. Approved the listed donations (mcu).
20. Approved the additional Winter Coaching Assignments of Boys Wrestling volunteer: Andrew Schmidt (mcu).
21. Approved the additions of Noah Wallerich and Dru Kohrs as Robotics volunteers (mcu).
22. Approved the resignations of coaches: Phil Schmidt, Jackie Betcher & Alex McDonald; and Paul Pellowski as evening custodian (mcu).
23. Supt. Wright gave her report.
24. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
25. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:58 pm (mcu).
