SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on Jan. 23, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.Lake-City.k12.mn.us.  7 board members and 14 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda.  Motion carried unanimously (mcu).
2. Approved consent agenda (mcu).   
3. Feb 21, 2023, next regular Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
4. Principal Berge reported on the High School & Principal Aeschlimann reported on Bluff View.
5. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed Report.
6. Approved 2023-24 Resolution directing administration to make recommendations for reductions in programs/positions. (mcu)
7. Approved general records retention schedule. (mcu)
8. Approved snow day forgiveness for para’s on 1-19-23. (mcu)
9. Approved donations list. (mcu)
10. Approved lane changes, resignations & new hires. (mcu)
11. Superintendent Enger shared his report.
12. Member Oeltjen shared his report.
13. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:46 p.m. (mcu)
