SPECIAL MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in a special session on March 21 & 22, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.Lake-City.k12.mn.us.  7 board members and 21 community members were present.
1. The board interviewed 5 candidates for Superintendent on March 21 and March 22.
2. A motion to bring candidates Irhke, Junker and Wright back for a second interview was made.  Discussion occurred about possibly asking an additional candidate.  Motion passed to bring back the three candidates on a 4-3 vote.
3. Interview questions for round 2 were discussed.
4. The schedule for the hiring process was updated.
5. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:43 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
