SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on May 15, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.Lake-City.k12.mn.us.  7 board members and 39 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda. Motion carried unanimously (mcu).
2. Approved consent agenda (mcu).   
3. June 20, 2023 next regular Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
4. Jessin Skoug, Amy Rogness and Jeremy Nelson gave public comments.
5. Principal Berge reported on the High School & Principal Aeschlimann reported on Bluff View.
6. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed Report in written form.
7. Approved to participate in the National School Lunch Program (mcu).
8. Approved membership in the MSHSL (mcu).
9. Approved EHS Management Services safety proposal (mcu).
10. Reviewed 2023-2024 fee schedule.
11. Approved Ariana Wright our IOWA designee, effective July 1, 2023.
12. Approved donations list (mcu).
13. Approved the terminations, resignations and new hires (mcu).
14. Superintendent Enger shared his report.
15. Board reports were shared.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:49 p.m. (mcu).
