Mayor Nichols called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. with a quorum present.

Motion McGrath, second Boe to appoint Megan Kramer as 2023 President pro tem.  All ayes 7-0-0.
Approve 2023 Visit Lake City Tourism budget
Motion Brown, second Boe, to approve the 2023 Visit Lake City tourism budget. All ayes 7-0-0.
Approve use of Port Authority reserve funds to finance the 2023 DESA contract and amend the 2023 budget
Motion Brown, second Boe to approve use of Port Authority reserve funds to finance the 2023 CEDA contract and amend 2023 budget in the amount of $8,435.30. All ayes 7-0-0.
Appoint Council liaison to the Great River Rail Commission
Motion Nichols, second McGrath to appoint Brian Quinn to the Great River Rail Commission.  All ayes 7-0-0.
Waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance 622 amending Title XI, Ch. 110, related to use of lodging tax proceeds
Motion Alkire, second Brown, to waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance 622 amending Title XI, Ch. 110, related to use of lodging tax proceeds. All ayes 7-0-0.
Waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance 623 combining Public Safety Board/Streets & Parks Commission
Motion Kramer, second Quinn, to waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance 623 amending Title III, Chapter 30, related to combining the Streets and Parks Commission with the Public Safety Board. All ayes 7-0-0.
Approve plans and specifications and set bid date for N. 7th Reconstruction project
Motion McGrath, second Alkire to approve plans and specifications and set bid date for N 7th reconstruction project. All ayes 7-0-0.

Motion Boe, second Alkire to adopt Resolution 23-004 terminating employment of Lake City Ambulance employee Katie Yorde effective January 9, 2023. All ayes 7-0-0.  
Motion McGrath, second Brown to adjourn at 7:48 p.m.  All ayes 7-0-0.
