NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for Zumbro Falls City will be open from April 10, 2025 to May 16, 2025 — Contact the Assessor’s Office for an Appointment Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Phone: 651-565-3669 or Email:LBAE@co.wabasha.mn.us. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your. local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization. LAKE TOWNSHIP BOARD will receive quotes for blading roads, snow plowing, sanding roads, mowing road ditches, and general road repair. Separate quotes will be received for class 5 crushed rock to be delivered on roads in the Township. There is approximately 22 miles of road. In 2024 Lake Township used approximate 3,361 tons of crushed rock.  Please quote class 5 crushed rock by the ton. All quotes must be delivered to the Lake Town Hall and in the hands of the Town Clerk at 8:00 p.m. on April 15th, 2025. Quotes will also be accepted by the Town Clerk before April 15th 2025 at her home.  The quotes accepted must furnish certificates of workman’s compensation and liability insurance.  The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.  The Board will meet at the Lake Township Hall, 30271 690th Street, Lake City, MN at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 to open the quotes. NOTICE: Any person wising to discuss an issue or personal concern with the West Albany Township Board of Supervisors at a meeting of said supervisors must notify the West Albany town clerk at least 48 hours prior to meeting time so that the issue of personal concern may be placed on the meeting agenda.  The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to deny any request. The April 7th monthly meeting will be the final deadline for submitting quotes for the 2025 Season for the following services: Rock and Gravel, Snowplowing, Ditch Mowing and Spraying. These will all be at the supervisors’ discretion as to when we would like a service to be done. LAKE TOWN BOARD will meet the third Tuesday of the month at the Lake Township Hall, 31271 690th St. Lake City, MN, and are open to the public. These meetings will start at 8:00 p.m. all year.
